I am beyond blessed to announce that I was offered the opportunity to star in “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” in Las Vegas at The Venetian in The Palazzo Theatre. If you’re not familiar with the show, it is a celebration, a mash-up of music, and moments from the greatest love stories imagined by famed director Baz Luhrmann. These films include Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, and Romeo + Juliet in which I am honored to be playing the role of Juliet.

I leave for Las Vegas next weekend and immediately jump into rehearsals. The show opens June 25th and runs through December 31st. Shows are Tuesday-Sunday @7:30pm every night. Tickets are on sale now and I’ve attached the link just in case you happen to be in Vegas between now and the end of the year.

This process has been very stressful and I don’t think that I have every worked so hard for something in my life. After so many no’s I found it hard to keep going, but I think the reason I wanted to give up was why i actually decided to Persevere. Hard work does pay off so if you are about to give up, don’t. I personally found it harder than not anyways.

I would also like to thank Peter Armado for helping me get familiar with the show and sharing all his expertise ;). Tyra Beatty for reminding me of how great I am, for believing in me when I didn’t believing in myself and for loving me regardless of what happened. Miss Leigh Scarritt for being so amazing and so supportive through everything and helping me in every way that I’ve needed. And finally Kevin Burroughs for spending two entire days staying up till midnight running lines with me, helping me learn 2 songs in 2 hours and for 2 straight days of recording take after take after take of material, and when we thought we got it, pushing me to do two more just in case.

I love you all so much and i’m so excited and oh so blessed to start this new chapter of my life. This is just the beginning.
